I find that a moist burlap bag on the floors work better than a fish box because the floor is about the same temperature as the water underneath. If it is really hot you need ice and an ice chest.

I had Doug put in a side drain as well as the standard drain hole in the rear. There are been days when it rained so hard as I was driving that I had to drain the water out of the rear of the boat. Not anymore!

This is the best anchoring system in my opinion. I had a Bo's center release but you had to get into the boat to do anything with the anchor. The cleat you see here will start to wear. I filed the metal to get some angle back but eventually you will need to replace it. Remember to face the cleat with your entire body when you pull on the rope. If you don't you will hurt your back.

This is a rear seat bracket I had Doug weld in. I wanted a bench that was easy to remove with no weight. I talk a lot about weight in the boat but it can be a real concern. There are two holes drilled into the top of the bracket. You also see the rear drain hole which is standard for aluminum boats. There is a cutout for a motor under the folded plate on the transom. I need more height for my long shaft so I had to add height.

Here is my rear bench sitting on top of the brackets. There are two big headed screws screwed into the outside supports under this seat. The screw heads fit into the two holes on the top of the brackets.

Here is my anchor nest! I've always had some kind of problem with pockets/nest. This burlap bag doubled up protects the boat and it is the easiest in and out I have found. Just make sure the rope is tight.
